Mississauga Metals and Alloys was established in
1978 with the sole mission of recycling zirconium
scrap to the nuclear industry. The company has been
family owned and operated since that time, and continues
to specialize in zirconium
and hafnium, as
well as niobium,
molybdenum and
others. MM&A is a leading supplier of prepared
zirconium recycle
products in the world, serving the nuclear, aerospace,
and chemical industries. Please see specific information
about these products on this website.
Mississauga Metals and Alloys has refined its
focus away from the usual product and service offerings
of metal recycling companies. Through its close working
relationships with companies in the nuclear industry,
including manufacturing, fabrication, and fuel making
sectors, MM&A has listened carefully to the
specific needs of the customer. During the last 10 years,
MM&A has continually sought to expand the
services it offers along this line. Recent expansion
has included Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLRW) metal
recycling for fuel makers, providing a lower cost, environmentally
sound option for reduction of metallic radioactive waste.
While Mississauga Metals and Alloys continues
to improve the quality and competitive advantage of
its product line, it also strives to offer valuable
solutions for the industries involved who are generating
the scrap. MM&A also welcomes developmental
project inquiries which may be beyond the scope of most
recycling companies.
